June European culling:

June 6 to July 3 from Italy into Germany, except for a week in the middle of the Slovenian countryside and the Croatian seaside sleepwalking self-drive idle sneak, the rest of the time in Italy and France and Switzerland frequent cross-border travel, mainly completed the Dolomites and the Tour du Mont Blanc two hiking routes. The theme was pretty clear: walking in the Alps.

About the Dolomites, rooted in the mind a bunch of place names: Furness Valley, Blade Mountain, Serceda, Hughes Valley, Mount Lagoszoy, Three Peaks ...... Each is a unique and isolated existence. There are nine Natural World Heritage Sites in the region, and this time, having traveled through four and passed by one, I can't get enough - it's a classic place to visit again and again.

An in-depth exploration of the Alps begins in the Dolomites.

The Dolomites in northeastern Italy are part of the Alps, arguably even the best part.

Chamonix, where Mont Blanc is located, is a mecca for hiking, the birthplace of alpine skiing and Alpine climbing, and the first Winter Olympics were held here, so Chamonix is a museum of existence, and the altitude of Mont Blanc is less than 4,000 meters above sea level, which allows you to appreciate the scenery of other areas that are a few thousand meters higher, with rich vegetation and abundant water, so that you can come here and feel that each and every cell is full of the passion of the movement, and that the environment of the hiking area bears the title of hiking paradise. The hiking environment is worthy of the title of hiking paradise.

After leaving Milan airport, we will go straight to the starting point of the Dolomites hike in the Galdina Valley. Lunch time through Italy's largest lake Garda, the waters are dotted with all kinds of boats, a variety of water sports fancy, some of them are not famous or the first time to see; waterfront restaurant groups of guests enjoying the holiday and their table tantalizing Italian food is just off the plane confused do not know where, an authentic Italian meal immediately after the refreshing into the mode of the holiday.

The first day stayed in the Galdina Valley alpine chalet in the yard there is a paragliding landing target point, sports mood quickly boiled into the role of a second.

Alpine chalet under the Otsei town is the base camp for hiking, the street abounds with such international big brand outdoor store, just like the existence of our street full of ATM machines has become a necessity of life here, not to hit the card is also difficult.

Tour du Mont Blanc

Tour du Mont Blanc - Day 1:

In the scorching sun, we hiked 17 kilometers with plenty of water sources ensuring a worry-free trek. We ascended 550 meters and descended 1100 meters. The sky was filled with paragliders soaring over Mont Blanc, creating a joyful atmosphere!

Tour du Mont Blanc - Day 2:

With Mont Blanc in the distance, we hiked along cable cars and ski slopes, starting in France and ending in Switzerland by evening. This week, we encountered an African heatwave hitting Europe, with sunlight and moisture nearly saturating the air. Flowers smiled at the snow-capped mountains along the way; it felt like Heidi's grandfather's house was just around the corner.

Tour du Mont Blanc - Day 3:

We ascended 700 meters and descended 850 meters. Starting in France, we hiked through forests, crossed rivers, and entered Swiss villages filled with flowers, like scenes from a fairytale.

Tour du Mont Blanc - Day 4:

Standing at the tri-point border of Italy, France, and Switzerland, you truly feel the essence of the Alps. The plan was to ascend 760 meters and descend 770 meters, but we climbed an additional mountain ridge, with total elevation changes likely exceeding 1000 meters. This was the most enjoyable day of the hike!

Tour du Mont Blanc - Day 5:

"The Balcony of the Alps." Flower-covered slopes against snowy backdrops make this the perfect time for a vibrant and scenic hike.

Tour du Mont Blanc - Day 6:

A long trek today. We passed by serene lakes, sharp rock formations, pristine snow trails, vibrant meadows, sunny fellow hikers, and ever-changing, magnificent clouds...

Tour du Mont Blanc - Day 7:

We walked back to Chamonix, completing the perfect loop around Mont Blanc during its peak flower season.

A thousand years of snow seen through the window, a home for the night traveler. Quality accommodations make hiking even more enjoyable.
